CS Automotive Group is the automotive division of the Chye Seng Group, established in 1948 by the late Dato Ooi Ting Chong. Beginning with humble roots in Butterworth, manufacturing and trading rattan furniture and operating motorcycle dealerships, Chye Seng Group has since evolved into a prominent household name in Malaysia. The group is now actively engaged in Property Development, Construction, and Automotive Retail industries, primarily serving the Northern Region of Peninsular Malaysia.

CS Automotive Group has grown over the past decade to become one of the country’s leading 1-Stop Automotive Solution Centers, with a total of 9 outlets offering Sales, After-Sales Services, Spare Parts, Accident Claims, and Insurance for renowned automotive brands such as Peugeot, GWM, Hyundai, Ford, Chery, Proton and Proton e.MAS.

The Growth Journey of CS Automotive Group

CS Automotive Group began its journey in 2012 with the launch of our first outlet, Peugeot Butterworth CS Euro Auto, located in Bagan Ajam, Butterworth, following the acquisition of our first Peugeot dealership. A year later 2013, we expanded to Alma, Bukit Mertajam, delivering exceptional service to more customers.

In 2016, we strengthened our presence in Bagan Ajam by opening the Peugeot Northern Technical Center for recall support and major services. That same year, we also established KIA Butterworth, making Bagan Ajam a hub for multi-brand automotive services.

Our portfolio continued to expand in 2019 with the opening of Hyundai Butterworth in Bagan Ajam and Ford Sungai Petani. In 2021, we entered the national car market with our first Proton Platinum 3S Outlet on Penang Island, marking our debut in Malaysia’s national car market.

The following year, in 2022, we welcomed GWM to our brand lineup, becoming the only authorized GWM outlet in Northern Malaysia, introducing advanced technology and innovative models to the region.

2024 marks a milestone year for CS Automotive Group. We are relocating our Proton outlet to Jalan Macallum, transforming it into a Proton 4S Outlet, while also launching Proton e.MAS at Juru Auto City, further strengthening our presence in the automotive industry under the Proton brand.

From our humble beginnings to becoming a multi-brand automotive powerhouse, CS Automotive Group remains committed to delivering excellence and innovation to our customers.

CS Euro Auto Sdn Bhd

Peugeot, Hyundai, GWM, and Chery are proud subsidiary brands under CS Euro Auto Sdn Bhd. Our journey began with the launch of our first Peugeot outlet in 2012, followed by the Northern Technical Center in 2016 to enhance after-sales service for Peugeot owners.

In 2019, Hyundai Butterworth was established to deliver quality Sales and After-Sales services. We became an authorized GWM dealer in 2022, opening GWM Butterworth, and expanded further with Chery Alor Setar in 2023.

This year, 2024, marks the addition of Chery Butterworth and GWM Georgetown, strengthening our commitment to serving diverse automotive needs. At CS Euro Auto, we’re more than just a dealer – we’re your trusted service provider.

CS Prima Auto Sdn Bhd

CS Prima Auto started its Proton journey as a City Platinum 3S outlet at the heart of Georgetown in 2021.

Our outlet officially opened in June 2021, and we are dedicated in making our customers Proton ownership experience as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible.

At CS Prima Auto, our customers always come first. We are committed to deliver quick and precise services to ensure every visit is efficient, seamless, and satisfying.

2024 marks a milestone year for CS Prima Auto as we take a significant step forward. We expanded our Proton outlet to Jalan Macallum, transforming it into a Proton 4S brand centre Outlet to offer an even broader range of services. Additionally, we are excited to launch our 3rd Proton outlet with Proton e.MAS, the first National EV at Juru Auto City, the automotive hub of Penang state, as such we are able to provide innovative electric vehicle options to our customers and leading the charge toward a sustainable future.

Launched in 2019, Ford Sungai Petani operates under CS OTC Vision, providing top-tier automotive services in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Our dedicated team members are carefully selected and expertly trained to deliver exceptional solutions tailored to your motoring needs, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience every time.

Chye Seng Property Development & Construction

Chye Seng Property Development & Construction is the property development & construction arm of CS Group. It prides itself as a conscience minded with value and lifestyle creating orientated developers by having successfully completed ≥ 2,600 units of Residential, Commercial, & Industrial Schemes. Without compromising quality and affordability CS Group has built trust and ties with the public & private sectors by being an active participant in the socio-economic development of the Northern Region.
